• PLTW STEM Program for 2015-16

    Thanks to a Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) grant, the district will now offer PLTW - Project Lead The Way, the nation's leading STEM program. These new courses are available to current 6th grade students, and will be offered to all junior high and high school students next school year.

  • WideField of Dreams - Matthew Moore

    Matthew Moore is a 4th grade student at Webster Elementary who dreams of one day becoming a four-time Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling.

  • Creating PBIS Expectations

    One of the first steps each building takes in creating their unique PBIS system is to create expectations for all students. Staff will decide what the most important rules or expectations are in their building in order to create a culture of positive behavior in the school.

  • The WideField of Dreams - AJ Vacik

    Drum roll please…introducing the one, the only, AJ Vacik! AJ is an 8th grader at Watson Junior High and an award winning drummer/percussionist. AJ not only plays on the junior high jazz band, but he is also the first 8th grader to play on the Mesa Ridge High School drum line.

  • WSD3 Named to Honor Roll

    Widefield School District 3 has been named to the College Board's 5th Annual AP District Honor Roll. District 3 is one of ten school districts in Colorado recognized for expanding access to Advanced Placement course work and improving the percentage of students earning scores of 3 of higher on AP exams.

  • Widefield of Dreams - Travis Dumas

    Travis Dumas is a seventh grader at Janitell Junior High. This young man was picked out of thousands of students in the region to receive an award for his volunteering efforts. Travis has been volunteering for the Special Olympics for the past four years.
