6th Grade and New Student Orientation
Orientation for incoming 6th graders, new students to Sproul, and their parents/guardians will be held Tuesday, May 9, at 6:00 pm in the Sproul gymnasium. Administration, counselors, 6th grade teachers, and electives teachers will all be there to present information and answer questions.

Calling all creative and artsy kids ages 6 - 12 years. Join WSD3 Art Specialist, Katie Whatley, and explore different mediums in each themed camp! Class limit:12 kids/camp
Wednesdays @ 10:45-11:45am

for 6 & 7 year olds
Do you have a chef on your hands? Children ages 4 - 7 will explore the kitchen and create a fun treat to eat. Class limit: 12 kids/class

Enjoy the show at MRHS auditorium and help support our local artists! Tickets can be purchased at the Parks & Rec office or at the door for $5/person.
We will use 3 different colors to create fun color combination and designs as wearable art. For ages 6 - 15 years. Class limit: 10 kids/class
Fee: $12/class (You will need to bring your own white shirt to dye)
We offer dance lessons for kids 3 years & up in a variety of styles; ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. Call or come in to see where there are openings in class!
All skill levels, ages 7 years to adult can benefit from this program by relieving stress, help with weight loss, flexibility, balance, stamina, coordination, and assist in self-control. Fee: Due by the 1st or each 2-month session and is based on $5 per 90-minute class.
These classes are a great way to spend some quality time with your kid(s) all while having some good fun. You will each paint your canvas that when put together will make one beautiful piece of art! Designed for parents with kids ages 6 - 15 years old.
Fee: $40/class per pair (parent & child)
SPORTS & FITNESS
Come play ball with us this summer! Register by May 6 (our office will be open 10am-4:30pm on Saturday, May 6). Leagues are available for 4 years - 8th grade (as of 2017/2018 school year). NEW this year - the 7th & 8th grade girls will play fast pitch!
We have moved the season up - we will now play during August & September. Registration will open June 1 and end on July 15. Leagues are available for 4 years - 6th grade for Flag Football and 4 years - 8th grade for soccer.
Learn proper stroke mechanics and progress to understanding the fundamentals of singles and doubles games. Instructors use the USTA QuickStart program. Lessons are for kids 5 - 18 years old.
Come swim and splash with us! Drop in for $3/person 15 years & under or $3.50/person for 16 years & up. Punch cards and memberships are also available.
Lessons will be offered throughout the summer. Our "Learn to Swim" program welcomes children ages 3 & up. Aquatots is a parent/child class designed to introduce children 6 months - 4 years to swimming. Private swim lessons are also available. Registration dates for all swim lessons are listed on our website.
We offer a variety of land and water fitness classes. Check our website for the current schedule. Drop in for only $3/class! Punch cards and memberships are also available.
Come have some fun and sink a few bags in our Adult Cornhole League. Register by May 21!

Play on our improved fields! We are the real deal here - no artificial turf or dirt! The coed league plays on Mondays and the men's league plays on Tuesdays. Register by May 24!

This is a coed 6-v-6 league. Grab your friends and come have some fun! Register by May 21.
Fee: $240/team for 8 matches
This is a coed 4-v-4 self-officiated league. Register by June 25!

CAMPS & MORE
Does your child need exposure to a classroom setting before fall? This is a smart start for children where the focus will be on early literacy and fine motor skills. Register byMay 12! Class limit: 20 students
This in an 8 week summer day camp for 1st - 5th graders (as of the 2017/2018 school year). Camp themes change weekly and coordinate will all of our exciting activities. Choose your favorite week or choose all of them! Class limit: 40 campers/week
Continue the tradition of attending Bear Trap on this overnight adventure for 6th - 8th graders (as of the 2017/2018 school year). Register by May 19!
Fee: $90 (includes t-shirt)
One man's trash is another man's treasure! Spots in our parking lot are available for rent or you can choose to sell at your residence. It'll be a morning of selling and shopping for the entire community. Register by May 24 to secure your spot to sell your goods!
This two day class for 11 - 15 year olds includes all of the skills and information covered in the American Red Cross Babysitting Class, plus First Aid & CPR. Class limit: 10 students/class
Obtain your American Red Cross CPR and First Aide certification that is valid for 2 years in this class. Class limit:10 students
FREE ACTIVITIES FOR THE FAMILY
Try tennis for free from 5-6pm for 5 - 10 year old students and from 6-7pm for 11 - 18 year old students. Students must register prior to attending. Limited spaces, register early!
Meet us at Pi-Ute Park under the pavilion for a free dance fitness class each Saturday during the summer.
Join us at Pi-Ute Park for a family-friendly movie under the stars on the first Friday of each month. Food vendors will be onsite.
Showcase your base running, batting and throwing skills with scores based on speed, distance, and accuracy! Register onsite. For ages 6 - 13 years as of 12/31/17.

High School Registration
High school registration at Sproul is complete for this year. If your student will be attending Widefield or Mesa Ridge next year and has not turned in their packet, please turn them in at the appropriate high school.
4th Quarter Report Cards Mailed
4th quarter report cards will be mailed to parents/guardians on Friday, May 26.
After School and Extra-Curricular Activities
