Work-Based Learning

What is Work-Based Learning?

Work-Based Learning (WBL) works in conjunction with Career & Technical Education classes to allow students opportunities to explore the world of work.  By using the skills learned in CTE courses, WBL can be a resource to students as they reflect on what they want their lives to look like after high school.

Students can work with the WBL Coordinator to identify interests, skills and aptitudes to determine next steps.  In addition, students may be able to earn credit for work experience and interships.

Talk with your school counselor to find out more and to help connect you to WBL.
