Widefield Culture
The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committee in Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) is comprised of representatives from each of our buildings, parents, and community members. The committee is assisting district leadership with the Teaching and Learning Cycle (TLC) 3.0 as well as developing a strategic plan to implement in the 2023-2024 school year.
WSD3 promote Culturally Responsive Instruction by encouraging our community to:
- Honor the unique qualities of each individual
- Acknowledge and celebrate diversity
- Create intentionally inclusive environments
- Implement curriculum that reflects real world experiences
The goal is to foster personal development, support academic performance, and develop productive members of our community.
