Parking & Drop-Off Rules

To keep traffic moving smoothly and respect our local business partners, please follow these parking guidelines:

  • Spectator Parking: If you are going to spectate near the beginning of the parade, please park in the Watson Junior High parking lot or along surrounding neighborhood streets where permitted.
  • Business Lots Closed to Spectators: The parking lots at Big R and the surrounding shopping center are strictly closed to parade parking and reserved only for customers of those businesses.
  • Student Drop-Off Zone: If you are dropping off a student who is walking or riding in the parade before finding a spot to watch, please use the west side of the shopping center near God’s Pantry.

Construction & Safety Reminders

  • Single-Lane Zone: There is ongoing construction at the end of the parade route as it approaches Widefield High School. The parade and spectator traffic will be navigating through a single lane in this area.

  • Be Cautious & Patient: Please stay aware of your surroundings, keep young children safely on the sidewalks away from moving floats, and extend patience to our volunteers and traffic directors.

Bring your school spirit, family, and lawn chairs as we gather to honor this great WSD3 tradition.
