Bond Oversight Committee Meeting Recap – April 7, 2026
The Bond Oversight Committee met on April 7, 2026, to review project updates, financial information, and progress across the district.
Bond Information & Financial Updates
An updated project list was shared with the committee, including current bid and contract estimates. Moving forward, committee members will receive this information in advance of meetings to allow for more efficient review and discussion.
Project Status & Overview
The district will be managing construction projects internally.
Updates were shared on the Preschool gymnasium project, where a walled-off section has been installed to separate construction from student areas. This helps reduce noise and supports the safety of students and staff while work continues.
Construction Progress Updates
Additional progress updates included:
- Demolition is underway in the North Preschool gymnasium
- HVAC preparation work is progressing at Pinello Elementary, Venetucci Elementary, and Talbott STEAM Innovation School
- Project schedules are being finalized across all active construction sites
A project tracking system was also introduced to monitor timelines, including projected and actual completion dates for each project.
