Bond Information & Financial Updates

Approximately $21 million is currently allocated to active bond projects across the district.

Several projects have come in under the district’s initial budget estimates. Pricing is still being finalized for upcoming projects at Sproul Junior High, Grand Mountain School, and Widefield High School. The district is also maintaining contingency funds to help address potential changes in construction costs.

Additional financial updates included:

• The Sunrise Elementary window replacement project is complete, and the roof replacement is nearing completion. The roof replacement was fully covered by insurance.
• The Pinello Elementary HVAC project is almost complete.
• The committee received a detailed report showing purchases and projects completed so far using each school's discretionary funds.

Summer Construction Progress

Many construction projects began around Memorial Day and continued throughout the summer. Staff reported positive feedback on completed improvements, including updates to the appearance and functionality of several schools.

Talbott STEAM Innovation School and Pinello Elementary are now using their new air conditioning systems.

Planning also continues for future projects that have not yet moved into construction. Architects and engineers are working with the district to finalize designs and structural plans.

North Preschool & Project Updates

Committee members reviewed photos showing different stages of construction across the district and toured improvements at North Preschool.

The tour included the gymnasium, renovated resource rooms, health office, and newly completed main office. The front office renovations were completed on schedule as staff prepared for students to return.

Construction of the North Preschool playground is also complete and ready for students to use.

Work will continue across the district as additional bond-funded projects move through planning, contracting, and construction.
