Bond Oversight Committee Meeting Highlights Thumbnail

The Bond Oversight Committee met on March 10, 2026, to review progress on capital improvement projects and discuss next steps across the district.

Superintendent Message

Superintendent Aaron Hoffman shared that the committee's role is to provide oversight of projects funded through the bond, including facility repairs and improvements. The goal is to ensure accountability and transparency throughout the process and maintain trust with the community.

Building Committees

Each school will receive $40,000 to support projects that directly benefit students.

  • Schools will gather input from staff and stakeholders to help decide how the funds are used
  • Principals will submit spending proposals by April 1 for approval
  • Future committee meetings will take place at school sites to help monitor project progress

Project Status & Overview

The district worked with an architectural firm to assess all school buildings. The assessment identified approximately $311 million in needs across the district. From that, priority projects were identified, and the community approved $88 to address the most critical needs.

Priority projects include:

  • Termite mitigation at North Preschool
  • Upgrades to aging mechanical systems
  • Asbestos removal

The district's Facilities Improvement Plan has been finalized, and contracting for projects is now underway.
