- Widefield of Dreams
Matthew Alcantar is our Widefield of Dreams student of the month! Matthew was recently awarded the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship—a national honor given to only 65 students across the country and only two in the state of Colorado.
Matthew, who worked with Peak Education to apply for the award, was recognized for his academic dedication and immense potential.
"It feels great to be recognized for my knowledge and dedication to learning," Matthew shared.
An aspiring doctor, Matthew is currently thriving in our Project Lead the Way courses and plans to pursue a biomedical pathway in high school. His dream is to attend UCLA and eventually open his own medical practice. Outside of his medical ambitions and his love for history, Matthew is a standout athlete on the track and cross country teams.
