Aaron Hoffman Executive Director of Secondary Learning

Dear Widefield School District 3 Community,

I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as your new Superintendent. My name is Aaron Hoffman, and my connection to this community runs deep. Having lived in Widefield since 1971, I've had the privilege of attending elementary, junior high, and high school right here in Widefield School District 3. After graduating from Widefield High School in 1988, I pursued my passion for education at Colorado State University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a concentration in education.

For the past 32 years, my professional journey has unfolded entirely within our district. I began as a math teacher and basketball coach, spending nine years in the classroom at both the junior high and high school levels. Over the years, I have served in various leadership roles including elementary assistant principal, elementary principal, junior high principal, high school principal, and central administrator. Each position has enriched my understanding of our district's strengths and challenges, reinforcing my commitment to our students' success.

I am particularly excited about the opportunity to serve as your Superintendent and to uphold our district's traditions of excellence, especially in this, the 150th anniversary of our outstanding school district. My approach to leadership is grounded in building strong relationships, fostering teamwork, and leading with a positive influence. I deeply value the diverse perspectives within our community, and I believe in engaging and embracing all voices to strengthen our schools.

As we embark on the journey of a new year together, I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and engaged students to continue providing exceptional educational opportunities. Together, we will ensure that every student, in every classroom, every day, receives the high-quality education they deserve.

It’s an honor and a privilege to work alongside each of you. I look forward to a successful school year, and I am excited at the great things that we will accomplish this year. Widefield truly is the place to be.

Thank you,

Aaron Hoffman
