Widefield School District 3 has many schools that offer a variety of unique programs and educational opportunities for students.

If you would like your child to attend one of our schools that is not your neighborhood school, submit a Boundary Waiver to the school of your choice. 

The open enrollment period is now open. The priority deadline is February 28, 2025. Boundary waiver forms are available at each school building, central registration office, and online. Please turn in your boundary waiver to the front office of the school you wish to attend by Feb. 28, 2025, for priority placement.

SCHOOL OF CHOICE

  • WSD3 has four innovation schools and offers many pathways such as engineering, biomedical, and computer science. Explore programs!

WHO NEEDS TO APPLY?

  • Students who wish to attend a WSD3 school that is different than the one assigned to your address
  • Students that live outside of WSD3 boundaries
  • Current students on a boundary waiver who are transitioning from elementary to middle school, or from middle to high school

FACTS ABOUT OPEN ENROLLMENT

  • Open enrollment ends the last day in February for priority
  • Boundary waivers must be turned in to the school of choice
  • School principals approve all boundary waivers based on availability 
  • If you are currently on a boundary waiver for the 2024-2025 school year, you will need to submit a new boundary waiver for 2025-2026 school year.
