Join us on an adventure with reading and so much more! Widefield School District 3 proudly presents the Summer Online Reading Program: Once Upon a Summer Read, running from May 27th to July 12th for PreK-12th grade students. Each week, enjoy exciting online activities, challenges, reading suggestions, and opportunities to win fantastic prizes.

Our summer schedule is packed with themed weeks to ignite your imagination:

Week 1 (May 27 - June 2): Once Upon A Hero
Week 2 (June 3 - June 9): Once Upon An Enchanted Forest
Week 3 (June 10 - June 23): Once Upon A Clue (New Content on 6/17)
Week 4 (June 24 - June 30): Once Upon a Try - A Journey of Invention and Discovery
Week 5 (July 1 - July 12): Once Upon a Quest (New Content on 7/8)

To make things even more exciting, turn in a reading log of your choice to earn larger prizes! PreK-2 students can use a fun coloring reading log, while 3rd-12th graders have an online option. Prizes include Parks and Rec. pool passes, tickets to the U.S. Olympic Museum, tickets to Robert Garman Magic Town, gift cards to Josh and Johns, stuffed animals, books, and much more. Prizes are given away each week!
