Ben Lopez, a dedicated 2nd grader at Venetucci Elementary, has been practicing taekwondo for three and a half years and is currently a green belt level 3. He is on the verge of earning his blue belt, a milestone that will allow him to assist his instructor in teaching others. Over the summer, Ben won 6 medals, contributing to his impressive total of 28 medals today. Ben enjoys the sparring gear and mastering the forms, having learned skills like sparring, board breaking, drills, and take-downs at Tiger Rock Martial Arts - Fountain. Taekwondo has taught him patience, discipline, and the importance of listening and helping others. Ben dreams of becoming a black belt and a champion in jiu-jitsu or karate.
