Student standing in the library at Grand Mountain School

Godric Sanders is flying toward his goal of becoming a fighter pilot. Godric is an 8th grade student at Grand Mountain School and one of the student STEMologists. A STEMologist is an educator with qualifications and certifications in different STEM-related programs. Godric was chosen by his school to be a student STEMologist because of his proficiency in using 3D printers, coding, and the flight simulators. He has helped students at the school's fifth grade transition night, 8th grade STEM day, and he has helped adults at the DoDEA school tour.

"It feels good to help people learn and share my passion," said Godric.

Godric said he really enjoys the computer science classes offered at Grand Mountain. His dream is to go to the Air Force Academy, branch Navy, and become a fighter pilot.
