Senior Morgan H. is a shining example of dedication and curiosity at Widefield High School. A four-year student in the district’s Biomedical Science program, she is currently completing her capstone project in Biomedical Innovations, where she and her partner are developing a solution to prevent clogs in gastrointestinal pumps. As co-president of HOSA, Morgan leads community outreach and placed fourth in Biomedical Debate at last year’s state conference. She’s also earning her phlebotomy certification, which will allow her to work professionally drawing blood for medical facilities, and is pursuing a lab assistant credential through the BACE program. Beyond academics, Morgan is a varsity soccer player and offseason team captain, known for her leadership and positivity. With a full-ride scholarship to the University of Missouri and more opportunities on the horizon, Morgan plans to pursue a career in medicine, driven by her passion for learning and helping others.
