Dylan Baker is a senior at Widefield High School (WHS) and is helping the world one plant at a time. Dylan has been growing plants for three years and has been a part of the environmental club since his sophomore year. He states, “I have a passion for growing things so I want to put it to good use for others.” He aids the environmental club with fundraising and putting that money into projects around WHS. The environmental club placed mulch, trees, and even a bench made of 100% recycled materials in the central quad of WHSl. Dylan currently takes classes at the Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (MiLL) and has put his construction skills to use by building his own shed with electricity. He wants to enter the trades after high school. His dream is to one day own a successful business that could help people improve their lives in some way.
