Juan G. is a 5th grader at French Elementary School and has grown into a student who naturally looks for ways to help others. Whether it is helping solve a problem at school or supporting someone going through a difficult time, Juan believes being a leader means stepping up, showing good sportsmanship, and helping people when they need it. Juan has helped French Elementary staff fix the fence for three years now. He also enjoys creating and building things, from Legos to fixing his mom’s car fan and working with bricks, which has sparked an interest in engineering. Looking toward the future, Juan hopes to combine engineering with service, especially finding ways to help people with disabilities and mobility needs. His dream is to use his creativity, hard work, and desire to help others to make a difference.
