Student TeacherS/SSP Interns/Counseling Interns

Widefield School District proudly offers student teaching programs. We provide exceptional hands-on experience, growth opportunities for the student teacher, continued professional growth for the mentor teacher, and partnerships with universities and colleges. We also have two dedicated student teacher coaches who support all our student teachers!

All Student Teachers/Interns will need to complete an external application within our online application system. Once the application is submitted and reviewed, the student will receive a call to schedule an interview.  Please do not contact the school, principal, counselor, SSP or teacher before completing the Human Resources process.

Obtaining/renewing a license is between the employee and the State of Colorado. Once you obtain/renew a license from the COOL Website (COOL Account Link), you must download and send a digital copy of the license(s) to the Widefield Human Resources Department at humanresources@wsd3.org.
