- Widefield of Dreams
Xoie Satterfield, Mesa Ridge High School softball player, will be playing for Team USA in Italy this summer. She is the only player from Colorado selected to attend the ten-day trip abroad where she will compete for our country in a softball tournament.
"I was excited and shocked. I'm excited to learn and work with other players and bring back skills to my team," said Xoie.
Xoie is the catcher for the Grizzlies who won the league and regional championships in the 2022-2023 school year. Next year will be Xoie's last season with the team before graduating.
"My goal is to be a leader and role model (to the younger players) and make it fun," said Xoie.
Xoie is in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) biomedical science pathway at school. Her dream is to go to college in Texas to play softball and study to become a pharmacist.
