Students helps police with Amber Alert

Frank Guerrero, an 8th-grade student at Watson Junior High, put the phrase "if you see something, say something" into action last week. While riding home on the school bus he received an Amber Alert notification on his phone with a description of a vehicle where two young girls were last seen. When he got off the school bus, he noticed a vehicle that matched the description. As he walked home, he called his mom who encouraged him to go ahead and call the police. Frank called 9-1-1 and lead police to the area the vehicle was last seen. Later that afternoon, the children were found safe. Frank's advice to others, "if you get an alert, read it, and be aware of your surroundings, and if you see something suspicious call police immediately."
