Mr. Aaron Hoffman

I grew up in Widefield and attended South Elementary School (now Venetucci Elementary), Watson Junior High School, and graduated from Widefield High School in 1988.  After attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins and getting a bachelors degree in Mathematics, I student taught in the Widefield High School math department in 1992.  I got my first teaching job at Watson Junior High from 1993-1997 where I taught math and coached 7th and 8th grade boys' basketball.  From 1997-2002, I was fortunate enough to get a job as a math teacher and 9th grade boys' basketball coach at Widefield High School.  After going back to school to get my Principal's License, I got my first administrative job as the assistant principal at Talbott and Webster Elementary Schools.  Two years later, I was named the principal of Talbott Elementary School where I served in that capacity for two years.  I then applied for and got the principal position at Janitell Junior High School in 2006.  After serving as principal at Janitell for 8 years, I was then appointed as the principal at Widefield High School in 2014.  I can't imagine a better place to be or better people to work with than the staff, students, and parents of the Widefield High School community.  GO GLADS!  My lovely wife is a teacher at Webster Elementary School, and my fantastic daughter attends college in New Jersey where she is studying Health Sciences and playing collegiate volleyball.
