Mary Lippert and Arlene Wright

I am Mrs. Mary Lippert and I am your child’s preschool teacher for this coming school year. I am excited to be part of your child’s educational experience, as I find that this is the first experience for several of our students.

I was born in Colorado Springs, although my father was in the military and we moved several times while I grew up, I mostly grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. I attended University of Northern Colorado, where I met my husband. We have two adult children and decided to raise them near Wichita, Kansas. I decided to go back to school to obtain my teaching degree and since 2007 I have taught preschool in public schools. My husband and I live on five acres, currently have four cows, seven chickens, one rooster and a dog and cat. In my spare time I enjoy thrift store shopping and auctions as well as gardening and hiking.

If you have any questions at any time in the future, don’t hesitate to contact me at the school via the preschool website, through email, or by leaving a phone message at the preschool office.

I am excited to introduce my assistant:

Hello, my name is Arlene Wright. I’m a native Californian. I grew up in San Diego and met my husband, Rob (who is deaf) in my second year of college. My major in college was Child Development/Teacher Assistant. I also became a certified interpreter for California only. We have two grown daughters who are married. We have two grandchild, a girl and a boy.

In 2003 we moved to North Carolina where I received two National certificates in interpreting I have interpreted in various settings and also worked in the public schools as an Educational Assistant for Special Needs. When my children were young I was a Pre-K and two year old teacher in day care. We recently moved to Colorado Springs due to and employment change for us. Colorado brings great memories and we are enjoying our new home. We are so blessed.

I enjoy doing activities with my husband and family. I’m so excited to have this opportunity to work with your child and see them grow!
