Wonders of the World
Overview
We will learn about the 7 ancient and 7 “new” wonders of the world. Many subjects and skills will be integrated into this class such as geography, history, reading, and writing. We will use the book “Seven Wonders of the World” as a guide, and we will also learn through videos. There will also be some fun projects tied into the lessons.
Supplies
1 folder or binder, Janitell toolkit, and student planner.
Assignments/grades
Students will show their learning verbally through whole-class activities and discussions. They will also have written assignments in which they will demonstrate their critical thinking. Homework will typically not be assigned, but students may have to finish assignments at home if they missed class.
Students are responsible for completing their assignments to the best of their ability and for turning them in on time. Assignment scores will be lowered 10% per day that they are late (not due to absence/illness).
Learner expectations
Demonstrate ROAR: Respect Ownership Achievement Responsibility
Be a problem-solver, not a problem-maker.

Assignment scores will be lowered 10% per day that they are late (not due to absence/illness). To access your child’s grade please check Infinite Campus online.
