Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Trent Poole
Welcome to Janitell and welcome to Mr. Poole's Social Studies Class! I am looking forward to an awesome school year and to you being in my class! I grew up in the Security/Widefield area and went to school at South Elementary (now Venetucci), Watson Junior High and Widefield High School. So, I love this community! I have taught in Widefield School District #3 for 29 years and have taught at Watson, Mesa Ridge, Widefield, and now for the last 16 years, here at Janitell. I love Janitell and am so happy to be a Jaguar.
When I am not teaching, I am at home spending time with my family and my three dogs. I also enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and photography. Colorado is my home and I love spending time here.
This year you can expect an exciting, fun, and engaging learning experience. You will work hard and learn a lot about the geography of the world or the history of our country. My goal as a teacher is that you do your best. I want you to reach your goals and to achieve your dreams. I believe that we are created for a purpose and my job is to help you find and achieve your purpose in life. I want us to have a great year.
