Mr. Bobby Muhammad
Through the course of his 19 years of service in the field of education, Mr. Muhammad has served as a classroom teacher, athletics coach, curriculum specialist, and as a program and curriculum director. He has served in middle schools, high schools and universities.
A native of Colorado Springs, CO, Mr. Muhammad is a graduate of Sierra High School; also, the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Master of Education degree (M.Ed.) from Wright State University in Ohio.
His teaching experience includes 7th & 8th grade Integrated Science, High School Biology and Physics, as well as undergraduate Physics for Education majors. He was also involved in developing and implementing a 9th grade Physical Science curriculum for the Dayton Public Schools in Ohio. As a curriculum and instruction specialist, he has developed and facilitated professional development for teachers. Working with community support agencies and affiliates which serve urban youth, he has developed curricula to address character development, self-esteem, critical thinking, and inter-personal relationships.
