WSD3 Music One Team One Goal

 WIDEFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT 3

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

The Widefield Music Department has a very long tradition of excellence and our staff takes great pride in providing a safe and secure learning environment, while at the same time offering a wide array of exciting and challenging artistic programs.

Our mission statement reflects our commitment to these very things:
THE WIDEFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT 3 MUSIC DEPARTMENT PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR QUALITY MUSIC EDUCATION THAT RESULTS IN THE PERSONAL GROWTH OF ALL STUDENTS, PARENTS AND THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY.

Over 7,000 students participate in music in the district!  We offer general music programs for all of our kindergarten through fifth grade students. Once in junior high, students may choose band, orchestra or choir with additional classes of guitar, mariachi, jazz band and music technology being offered at various schools throughout D3. High school allows all students the opportunity to continue in band, choir and orchestra. Honors level classes are available in each of the disciplines!

With so many choices, it's easy to understand why WSD3 is the place to be for music education
