Getting to Know Mrs. Hobbs:
My family has lived in Colorado since my great-great grandfather moved here in the mid-1870's. Both my husband and myself are 5th generation Coloradoians! My family and I live on a homestead established in 1880 by my husbands great-great grandmother. Together my husband and I maintain a small ranch, drag race, take in the arts and enjoy life.
My husband I have raised 5 children together, all of which are adults now except my youngest who attends middle school in District 3. Our oldest daughter has blessed us with 2 grandchildern, my youngest son and his beautiful wife live in the Springs close by which is nice and the two older boys live in Ft. Collins.
I typically spend my summers teaching various S.T.E.M. based summer camps to middle school students. My favorite to teach is Lego Mindstorm Robotics and Aeronautics. When I am not instructing summer camps I spend my time creating art and reading.
