A makerspace is an opportunity for students to collaboratively work on projects, share ideas, equipment and knowledge.
Makerspace activities are important because they allow students to learn how to problem-solve specific tasks, create, and learn collaboratively.
Makerspace activities vary greatly. They can be as simple as challenges with Keva planks or pipe cleaners, however, many makerspace activities involve engineering, mathematics, science and technology.
