Students Learn To Defend Cyber Attacks

Cyber security is the fastest growing field in America, which is why Mesa Ridge and Widefield high schools are offering students training through CyberPatriot.

Our after-school program gives high school students hands-on experience defending computer systems against potential cyber threats.

CyberPatriot is the Air Force Association’s National Youth Cyber Education Program, created to motivate students towards careers in cyber security and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The program features the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition for high school and middle school students, AFA CyberCamps, and an Elementary School Cyber Education Initiative.
