Website and Information Accessibility

We are focused on all website content meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards, which has three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, Level AAA. At this time our goal is to meet or exceed Level AA.

Efforts Toward Goal

  • We use a website audit tool called Monsido which checks our webpages for accessibility and content quality
  • We provide continuous accessibility and content creation training to website managers
  • We screen digital resources for compliance
  • We transitioned to a new system that audits, screens and manages software solutions

We are continuously monitoring and working on meeting these accessibility standards so that you'll have a positive experience. We want you to easily find our information and understand it.

WSD3 wants to hear from you. If you are unable to access content on any Widefield School District 3 websites, have questions about the accessibility of content, and/or would like to report barriers to accessing LPS websites, need information in another format, or have any suggestions, please fill out the Report a Web Accessibility Issue form. WSD3 staff strives to respond within five working days.
